Practice exams
Train in the exam format: same domain distribution, time and pass mark. Every practice exam ends with an explained review of each question and the domains to study. The KG Foundations one is free; KGCP and KGFP practice exams are included in Pro, with one free per level.

How the assessments work
Theory exam
Questions are drawn from a bank reviewed by people, following each domain's weight. The order of the options changes in every exam, the answer key never reaches your browser and grading happens on the server. The timer is the server's too: if your connection drops, you resume with the time left. You can mark questions for review and you get warnings at 10 and 2 minutes left.
Practical part in the Kanban Game
At the professional levels, you play Kanban Game matches in the required scenario. Each match is replayed on the server from your actions, and only a match whose score matches the recalculation counts. The match used is recorded on the credential.
Passing and issuance
The credential is issued automatically, right away, only when every requirement of the level is met: active prerequisite, practical part and pass mark. If anything is missing, nothing is issued and the page shows what is left.
Certification is not a completion certificate
Professional certification
Issued only after passing the requirements of the level. It is the only one this page covers and the only one validated as a credential.
Completion certificate
Issued when you finish every step of a learning path. It records the practice done on the platform, without an exam.
Participation certificate
Would attest attendance at an activity, without assessing competence. Kanban.Global does not issue participation certificates.
Certificate and validation
Each credential has a digital certificate with a unique number, a validation QR code and a version you can print as PDF. The samples below carry a "SAMPLE" watermark.
Public validation
Anyone can check a credential by its number or the certificate's QR code. Validation shows the holder, the credential, its status (valid, expired or revoked), the dates and the requirements met. Exam score, game score and email are never shown.

To study
Credentials issued before the ladder
Holders of "Kanban · Fundamentos", "Kanban · Praticante" or "Kanban · Avançado" keep the credential valid until it expires. "Praticante" includes one free KGCP exam and "Avançado" one free KGFP exam, added to the account when each exam opens.
Frequently asked questions
Is the Kanban.Global certification recognized by other organizations?
It is Kanban.Global's own credential, independent of any other certifying body. It is worth what it measures: a reviewed theory exam and, at the professional levels, verified practice. We do not use third-party accreditation seals.
Do I need to pay to start?
No. KG Foundations is free, as is all the study content: the KGBOK, the guides, the Kanban Game and the experiences.
Can I skip a level?
No. Each credential requires the previous one to be active. Holders of a credential issued before the ladder use the free upgrade to the equivalent exam.
How long is the credential valid?
KG Foundations and KGCP are lifetime. KGFP lasts 3 years and renews through practice. KGCT is valid while the KGCT license for Certified Trainers is active.
How does someone check my credential?
With the certificate's QR code or the number, on the validation page. It shows whether the credential is authentic and active.
